community involvement
ePac LA has partnered with several educational programs that seek to give young people the opportunity to learn about and find jobs in the flexible package printing industry. The team worked with HP and Fullerton College to pilot a series of workshops where a small group of students gain hands-on training with the HP Indigo 20000 printing press. The LA team also presented their business model to 28 students from the Industrial Electrical & Mechanical training program, part of an ongoing partnership with a local vocational program whereby internships are offered to students.
ePac LA is part of Naturally Bay Area and will partner with the newest branch, Naturally San Diego, all dedicated to fostering sustainable and responsible entrepreneurship and innovation within local natural products food communities.
Additionally, the team has donated to the Let It Be Foundation in Chino and looks forward to ongoing sponsorship and participation in their upcoming events. The Let It Be Foundation supports families with terminally ill children by creating some normalcy in their lives.
