Navigating Extended Producer Responsibility
EPR is complex, but your compliance shouldn’t be. Let our dedicated team help you master your packaging data and reporting obligations

What is EPR for Packaging?
Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is a policy that shifts the financial and management responsibility for the end-of-life of packaging to the Producers (like brand owners) who introduce that packaging to the market.
In practice, this means companies must register with Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs) which are often adjusted based on the recyclability and sustainability of the materials used. The goal is to incentivize packaging design that minimizes waste and supports a circular economy.

Your Packaging Partner in EPR Compliance
The core of EPR compliance is accurate, granular packaging data. Our technical team is ready to deliver the clarity you need.

Committed to Recyclability Standards
As a member of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC), we align our packaging innovations and data services with industry-leading recyclability guidelines, ensuring our solutions support a circular future for your brand.

Supporting a Circular Economy
We are working toward packaging that unites both recyclability and PCR content in one solution. By combining recycled inputs with packages designed for recycling, ePac is driving toward a closed-loop system that reduces waste and keeps flexible packaging in circulation.
Today’s Solutions
- Recyclable Made with PE-PE films that can be returned through store drop-off programs.
- Post-Consumer Recycled Made with post-consumer recycled content to reduce non-recycled plastic use.
- Full Circularity made with recyclable PE-PE film and post-consumer recycled (PCR) resin, this pouch supports a closed-loop system by reducing virgin plastic use and re-entering store drop-off recycling streams.
