What makes our custom mylar bags different?

Our high-barrier, custom-printed flexible pouches are certified by third party agencies to meet federal test requirements, odor + moisture resistant, and resealable.

Is your custom mylar packaging certified safe based on U.S. safety standards and required certifications?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Our child-resistant mylar pouches have been tested and certified by third-party agencies to meet federal test requirements provided in the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations, (CFR 16, Part 1700), and as referenced by A.S.T.M. D3475. Our CR packaging also meets the requirements for special packaging as stated in the U.S. Poison Prevention Packaging Act (PPPA). The resealable closure provides access for adults but secures the seal of the pouch to reduce the risk of children accessing the contents inside.

What are your film structures and material options?

Accepted Answer

Print Substrates PET, Metallized PET, PE, and BOPP. Recyclable films have finishes available in: Traditional Matte, Soft-touch Matte, Gloss, Metalized, High-barrier and multi-layer sealant films, Specialty laminate films, Metalized PET and foil. Freezer safe and microwaveable options are also available.

Do you meet the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s (CPSC) Certified Child Resistant Packaging requirements?

Accepted Answer

Yes! According to the Consumer Products Safety Commission, child-resistant packages must be designed or constructed to be significantly difficult for children under five years of age to open within a reasonable time, and not difficult for normal adults to use properly. Our press-to-close zippers paired with our high-grade digitally printed stand up pouches or lay flat pouches, ensure your products are safely secured, while still standing out on the shelf.
