Custom Flow Wrap That Helps Your Business Grow
ePac helps brands at every stage of growth. From startup test runs to large-scale production, our digital printing technology gives you professional-grade rollstock packaging without the high upfront costs or long lead times.

What is Flow Wrap Packaging?
Flow wrap packaging, often recognized as “flow wrapping,” is a favored packaging technique known for its versatility and efficiency. This method wraps products in a flexible film — delivered as precision-engineered rollstock — resulting in a tightly sealed package that simultaneously protects and showcases the item inside.
With ePac’s custom digital printing, your flow wrap film becomes full-coverage branding on every unit. No stick-on labels, no compromises — just premium print quality at any production volume, with no plate fees.

How Does Flow Wrap Packaging Work?
Also referred to as horizontal form-fill-seal (HFFS), flow wrap packaging operates on a continuous, automated basis. Products move horizontally through the machine as film is unwound, formed around the product, sealed, and cut — all in one seamless process.
ePac’s FFS rollstock is available in lap sealable and fin seal configurations, with a wide seal range to match your equipment’s requirements. Our films are engineered for strong seals and exceptional throughput, so your line runs at peak speed with minimal downtime.
What are the Applications of Flow Wrapping?
Flow wrapping is trusted across a wide range of markets. On the food side: candy, confectionery, cookies, granola, protein powders, salty snacks, chocolates, coffees, teas, chips, and popcorn. Beyond food: toiletries, pharmaceuticals, and promotional materials.
If your product needs to be individually wrapped at speed — with a tight seal, clean appearance, and full-coverage branding — flow wrap is the right format for your line.

Rollstock Formats For Your Product
Choose the structure that matches your product, fill method, and production line. Our rollstock is compatible with a wide range of FFS equipment configurations.

Pillow Pouches
The most common rollstock format. A simple, cost-effective structure ideal for single-serve snacks, sachets, and packets. Runs cleanly on vertical FFS equipment.

Lay Flat Pouches
A flat, sealed pouch format well-suited for products sold online, in bins, or in display boxes. Saves shipping space and works well for powders, pills, and smaller quantities.

Packets & Sachets
Small-format single-serve structures for condiments, supplements, samples, and on-the-go products. Available in a wide range of sizes with fin seal or lap seal options.

How to Get the Right Flow Wrap Packaging for Your Needs
Note: Roll stock packaging is only partially formed. This allows you to fill and seal the packaging in one process, typically handled by form, fill, & seal machines. Many customers send their products and rollstock to a co-packer to handle this process for them.

Seal Type
Fin seal or lap seal — matched to your product dimensions and equipment.
Film Winding
Unwind direction configured to your machine’s requirements.
Core & Roll Size
3-inch and 6-inch cores; max outer diameter by imperial, metric, or impression count.
Solventless Lamination
Clean, low-migration lamination process suitable for direct and indirect food contact applications.
Spot Embellishments
Highlight key design elements with specialty finishes for added shelf impact.
Freezer Safe & Hot Fill
Specialty film options for products requiring temperature performance at either end of the spectrum.
Co-Packer Accomodations
We convert to exact co-packer specs — seal type, unwind, and outer diameter dialed in before it ships.
