Child-Resistant and Smell-Proof
Child-resistant mylar pouches are a popular choice of product packaging for flowers, medicinal herbs, cartridges, and edibles. Their scent-proof and odor-resistant nature make them a great way to keep products that are known for their strong fragrance from infiltrating its surrounding environment. Our pouches are designed to meet all the industry standards for child-resistant packaging designed for storing medicinal items, including being certified child-resistant, tamper-evident, opaque, and resealable.

Mylar bags and stand up pouches are excellent material for food products that need to be protected in an airtight environment. Because of its high-barrier properties, food is protected against moisture and oxygen entering or exiting the package, extending shelf-life, and keeping your product fresh.
*Originally developed by DuPont, this polyester film is made from stretched polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and is also referred to as BoPET (Biaxially-oriented polyethylene terephthalate).

Our high-barrier, custom-printed flexible pouches are certified by third party agencies to meet federal test requirements, odor + moisture resistant, and resealable.
Is your custom mylar packaging certified safe based on U.S. safety standards and required certifications?
Yes! Our child-resistant mylar pouches have been tested and certified by third-party agencies to meet federal test requirements provided in the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations, (CFR 16, Part 1700), and as referenced by A.S.T.M. D3475. Our CR packaging also meets the requirements for special packaging as stated in the U.S. Poison Prevention Packaging Act (PPPA). The resealable closure provides access for adults but secures the seal of the pouch to reduce the risk of children accessing the contents inside.

Do you meet the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s (CPSC) Certified Child Resistant Packaging requirements?
Yes! According to the Consumer Products Safety Commission, child-resistant packages “must be designed or constructed to be significantly difficult for children under five years of age to open within a reasonable time, and not difficult for normal adults to use properly.” Our press-to-close child-resistant zippers combined with our digitally printed stand up or lay flat pouches, ensure your products are safely secured, while still standing out on the shelf.
